The Kentucky Counseling Association, the largest organization of professional counselors in the commonwealth of Kentucky, will hold it's annual conference in Louisville, Kentucky, on October 11-13, at the Galt House Hotel & Suites, Louisville, KY. There will likely be over 600 professional school, mental health, career and other counselors attending. Six hours of EILA credit will be awarded for attending the Conference. The conference will begin on Tuesday evening with the opening session. There will be interest sessions all day Wednesday and Thursday morning. A general session will be held on Wednesday afternoon and a closing session on Thursday morning.
OPENING SESSION
On Tuesday, October 11th, 7:00 p.m., the Opening Session to be announced.
The Closing Session on Thursday, October 13th at 10:30 a.m. will feature a brunch along with the presentation of the Annual Counseling Awards and prizes.
In addition Professional Development sessions will be held on Tuesday, October 11, from 9:00am-4:00pm. Both NCC continuing education credit and Kentucky Department of Education EILA credit can be earned at these workshops. Please check back often as we will continue to add/change this information. Registration for the workshops is separate from registration for the conference. There will be five six hour workshops from 9:00am - 4:00pm on Tuesday October 11. There are two three hour workshops on Tuesday from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.
